Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Sheikh Hasina on becoming Prime Minister once again with a huge majority in the parliamentary elections in Bangladesh. Modi had today congratulated Haseena on a warm welcome. In the 300-seat Bangladesh parliament, the Sheikh Hasina's party won 267 seats and was a huge success. Haseena is going to be the prime minister for the fourth time. Modi has expressed confidence that Narendra Modi telephoned and congratulated him on his long-pending leadership and shared confidence and good relations between the two countries, the Indian Foreign Ministry said. Modi's wishes were given to the Bangladesh people who trusted in democracy and development. He also thanked Modi and said he was the first leader to phone him to be Modi, said the MEA.
